Join Us for the 4-H Carnival
Purchase $1 tickets from 4-H members now to be entered in the drawing for cash prizes. Each ticket can also be redeemed for two booth tickets the day of the carnival.
Booth tickets will be sold the day of the carnival for 25¢ each.
The High Country Handiworkers will be hosting five booths including Toilet Paper Toss, Lollipop Pull, Lockbox, Iron Man Challenge, and Rubberband Guns. We will also be donating three baskets (Colorado Sports, Camping, Dog Care) for the live auction held at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
All proceeds benefit 4-H programs in Larimer County.
Archery Participants: Here’s a community service opportunity. The Big Thompson Bowhunters Association (BTB) will be hosting a Range Cleanup Work Day on Saturday, May 6 beginning at 8:00 a.m.
There are plans to tear down all the target butts, replace the shot-out bales, and then rebuild the butts with new banding and wire. There will also be general cleanup around the range. A lunch will be provided at noon and work should be completely finished by noon or a little after so bring your bow and fling a few arrows when we’re finished.
The BTB allows Larimer County 4-H participants to practice weekly at the range at Lon Hagler at no charge. Please set aside some time to come and assist. Rumor has it that if the weather is nice they may plan on painting their building as well. And the High Country Handiworkers 4-H Club is planning on repairing and painting the two picnic tables near the target range.
Thank you for the support. If you have any questions, please contact Cindy.
The High Country Handiworkers 4-H club was chartered in 1980 and is located in Larimer County, Colorado.
