Our club will be selling carnival tickets at the King Soopers (Thompson Valley Towne Center) on February 18, February 26, and March 4 from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Click the button below to sign up for a two-hour time slot. We’d like to have 6 volunteers during each slot.
The Exchange Club dinner and auction is this Saturday, February 4.
The complimentary dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. with a taco bar with veggies and fruit, and Culvers custard for dessert.
The silent auction runs from 5:30–7:00 p.m., followed by the live auction at 7:00 p.m. Items up for auction include handmade items from 4-H members, tools, an autographed picture of CJ Anderson of the Denver Broncos, homemade baked items, pet items, and lots of gift cards.
Get your tickets to 4-H Night at the Colorado Eagles game, and share the flyer and link with your friends as well.

The New Family Orientation scheduled for Thursday, January 19 has been cancelled. The extension agent, Megan Blaser, was called out of town.

TOMORROW IS LAST DAY FOR ENROLLMENT FOR PREVIOUS 4-H MEMBERS! (Tuesday, January 17)
Cloverbuds and leather craft will be meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Construction Supply House shop. We will kick the heater on, but dress warmly. Cloverbuds will be learning the 4-H pledge and we have a great workshop themed around the Stock Show.
There is a cake decorating orientation tonight from 6–8 p.m. in the McKee Building.
The .22 rifle and pistol, and air rifle and pistol orientations are Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. in the McKee building. These are mandatory meetings. On Sunday, January 22 at 1:00 p.m. there will be a hands-on workshop for these disciplines as well. It’s geared mostly for first and second year shooters, but all are welcome.
Sheila Durnill has offered to chair the carnival baskets. She is looking for a couple of club members to assist on the committee, and another adult as well. Email Cindy if you are interested and she will pass your contact information on to Sheila.
There is a new-family orientation on Thursday evening at the McKee Building from 6:00–8:00 p.m. for those new to 4-H. While one parent is in the shooting sports orientation, another parent can go to the orientation. Just a suggestion.
The minutes from the January meeting are now posted on the website. Please read through them before the February meeting.
This month We will be talking about the National Western Stock Show and will have a special guest. 4-H Day at the National Western Stock Show is January 13.
The Cloverbuds will also have a pledge quiz.

A reminder that our monthly club meeting is this Monday, January 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the McKee Building. We meet in the rooms in the back hallway. Please bring something to write with.
