The High Country Handiworkers will be hosting five booths including Toilet Paper Toss, Lollipop Pull, Lockbox, Iron Man Challenge, and Rubberband Guns. We will also be donating three baskets (Colorado Sports, Camping, Dog Care) for the live auction held at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
All proceeds benefit 4-H programs in Larimer County.
Thank you all of you who helped wrap Christmas gifts for the Foster and Adoptive Families of Larimer County. Their Christmas Party was held on December 17th with over 220 children present.
The silent auction raised $113 for the Coats family. Thank you to all who participated.
Our December monthly meeting will be held on Monday, December 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the exhibit hall of the McKee Building. (If a few people can arrive at 6:30 to help carry things in and set up, that would be appreciated.)
Elections: We will hold elections for club officers, so think about running for an office. We ask that each candidate stand up and introduce themselves, and tell us about why they are a good candidate. If you want to run but can’t attend the meeting, please let Cindy know.
Community Service: We will be wrapping Christmas gifts for the Foster and Adoptive Families of Larimer County after the meeting.
T-Shirt Selection: Due to time constraints, we will wait to discuss club t-shirt designs until January. This will give club members time to work on ideas over the holiday break.
Cloverbuds: Don’t forget to bring your turkey masks.
Coats Family Silent Auction: Lacey Adams would like to hold a fundraiser to help the Coats family with their medical expenses from Bob’s car accident. We will hold a silent auction at the meeting. Please bring a new or gently used item if you would like, and we will set them up in a silent auction. If you are interested in purchasing an item, we will accept cash or checks.
Enrollment: If you have enrolled, print the enrollment confirmation by going to Member Reports and choosing “Member - Re-Enrollment Form: Current 4-H Year. Bring the printed report along with your dues payment.
Certificates and Record Books from 2016: Cindy will have record books and certificates of completion that were not picked up at the last meeting. If they are not picked up at the December meeting, they will be available for you at Construction Supply House.
Cookies: Don’t forget to bring a dozen cookies to share!
