The High Country Handiworkers will be hosting five booths including Toilet Paper Toss, Lollipop Pull, Lockbox, Iron Man Challenge, and Rubberband Guns. We will also be donating three baskets (Colorado Sports, Camping, Dog Care) for the live auction held at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
All proceeds benefit 4-H programs in Larimer County.
A big thank you to Black Garlic Spice Co. for hosting our Foods project group for a field trip on Monday, January 21. We learned a lot!
Plan to tour Fyn River Farms with us on Saturday, April 28 at 9:00 a.m. We’ll learn about how this prototype farm grows basil. It is an aquaponic operation, combining aquaculture—the growing of aquatic animals or plants—with hydroponics, the growing of crops in water. Read more about their operation in this article in the Loveland Reporter-Herald and at the Fyn River Farms Facebook page.
Meet us at 4116 East Highway 302 in Loveland.
The High Country Handiworkers 4-H club was chartered in 1980 and is located in Larimer County, Colorado.
