Join Us for the 4-H Carnival
Purchase $1 tickets from 4-H members now to be entered in the drawing for cash prizes. Each ticket can also be redeemed for two booth tickets the day of the carnival.
Booth tickets will be sold the day of the carnival for 25¢ each.
The High Country Handiworkers will be hosting five booths including Toilet Paper Toss, Lollipop Pull, Lockbox, Iron Man Challenge, and Rubberband Guns. We will also be donating three baskets (Colorado Sports, Camping, Dog Care) for the live auction held at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
All proceeds benefit 4-H programs in Larimer County.
Please be sure to bring your carnival ticket stubs, in numerical order, to Cindy at Construction Supply House before Friday, February 23. We also still need items for the two carnival baskets with the following themes: Arts/Crafts and Camping/Hunting.
Don’t forget to sign up for a time to help at the 4-H Carnival on March 3. Go to the Signups page and choose a slot.
We need more people to volunteer to help with the antique show this weekend, February 22–24. Click this link to sign up and help with this event, which will benefit Shooting Sports.
Archery orientation is on Tuesday, February 20 at 6:00 p.m. Please arrive to check in at 5:45 p.m.
Tuesday, February 20 is also Beef Weigh Day beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Those enrolled in livestock projects, MQA is coming up on Saturday, February 24. If you are new to livestock you are required to take MQA to show at the county fair. Remember, if you turned 14 in 2017, you must take the MQA again. We encourage all of you in livestock to attend the workshops. You can always learn something new. Please check your email and also the Clover Connections newsletter for February for all of the details.
The High Country Handiworkers 4-H club was chartered in 1980 and is located in Larimer County, Colorado.
