Join Us for the 4-H Carnival
Purchase $1 tickets from 4-H members now to be entered in the drawing for cash prizes. Each ticket can also be redeemed for two booth tickets the day of the carnival.
Booth tickets will be sold the day of the carnival for 25¢ each.
The High Country Handiworkers will be hosting five booths including Toilet Paper Toss, Lollipop Pull, Lockbox, Iron Man Challenge, and Rubberband Guns. We will also be donating three baskets (Colorado Sports, Camping, Dog Care) for the live auction held at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
All proceeds benefit 4-H programs in Larimer County.
Our club meeting for February is on Monday, February 13 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Scroll down and check out our new t-shirt designs. We had to revise the color choices a bit to offer them in sizes for both youth and adult sizes.
The 4-H Carnival is coming up in March. Bring your ideas for carnival booths and how many tickets to charge. We’ll vote so we can begin working on those.
Carnival tickets will be distributed. Every member is asked to sell 25 tickets for $1 each. We also offer a chance to sell tickets at the King Soopers at Thompson Valley Towne Center on February 18, February 26, and March 4 from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Sign up for one of the time slots by clicking here.
Bring items to include in our club’s baskets for the auction at the Carnival. Our themes are Camping/Hunting, American Pride, and Baking/Bacon. Ideas for items to fit each theme are listed below. And we also need a few members and an adult to help put together the baskets.
One last reminder: Returning members should be presenting their demonstrations now!
The High Country Handiworkers 4-H club was chartered in 1980 and is located in Larimer County, Colorado.
