Join Us for the 4-H Carnival
Purchase $1 tickets from 4-H members now to be entered in the drawing for cash prizes. Each ticket can also be redeemed for two booth tickets the day of the carnival.
Booth tickets will be sold the day of the carnival for 25¢ each.
The High Country Handiworkers will be hosting five booths including Toilet Paper Toss, Lollipop Pull, Lockbox, Iron Man Challenge, and Rubberband Guns. We will also be donating three baskets (Colorado Sports, Camping, Dog Care) for the live auction held at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
All proceeds benefit 4-H programs in Larimer County.
The dance team that Caree Rinebarger coordinates is looking for more members. This is a 4-H activity and there is no age requirement (not sure about Cloverbuds) and no experience is required. They practice on Sunday afternoons.
Anyone, male or female, who is interested in dance is welcome to attend their informational meeting this Sunday, January 28 at 2:30 p.m. in the McKee building.
Call Caree at 970-219-1690 with questions.
Update: More info from Caree.
Cloverbuds can participate. For Cloverbuds we only offer line dance or possibly Pom. For Juniors, Intermediates, and Seniors (depending on how many sign up for each division) there is opportunity for Line, Pom, Western Swing Team, and this year we have an opportunity for Scottish Step. If you an call me tomorrow or come to sign up on Sunday and we will know more. There are fees to cover costs of DJ fees, costumes, and entry fees. We try to keep our costs down and also try to do fundraisers to help with costs. At sign up we ask for a $15 deposit for Cloverbuds and $50 per child for the Juniors, Intermediates, and Seniors or a max of $100 for large families. This goes toward those fees mentioned and we invoice for additional fees.
Please don’t let the fees stop you from coming to find out more or signing up. We are happy to work with you if need be.
Another Update from Caree:
Thank you so much for coming to the sign up. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
