July 2019 Meeting Report

The High Country Handiworkers 4-H Club met on Monday, July 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the McKee Building at the Ranch in Loveland, Colorado.

Shooting Sports contests are going on. Good luck to all of our club members!

The club will be participating in the Larimer County Fair parade on July 27 at 9:30 a.m. with a member float and a Cloverbuds float.

We will be selling tickets for the Ford F-150 Truck raffle at the fair on August 2–4, including at the Pancake Breakfast on Sunday morning. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for 5, and benefit 4-H members locally in Colorado.

4-H families are eligible for discounted rodeo tickets and carnival wristbands. Members should visit the club website to place orders.

There were demonstrations about using drawing tools, aiming a bow with no sight, fitting a lamb, felting, glazing ceramics, using woodworking tools.

Our club picnic will be on September 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Fairgrounds Park. The next meeting will be on October 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the McKee Building.
