If your project went to state fair, please remember to pick it up tomorrow between 7:30–10:00 a.m. from the McKee Building Exhibit Hall. If you are unable to make it during this time, contact Cindy so she can do it.
Our annual club picnic is on Monday, September 11 beginning at 6:00 p.m. (If you have a sports practice, please join us when you’re finished.) The club will provide sloppy joes and drinks, as well as the paper plates and plasticware. Please bring a side and/or a dessert. We will be at Fairgrounds Park in Loveland on Railroad Avenue.
Congratulations to all those who participated in state competitions!
Reminder: Livestock record books are due at the Extension Office by September 15. This includes dog and cat projects. Cindy will take them up if they are brought to either the club picnic or before the 15th at her office.
Cindy is working on the paperwork for enrolling our club for 2018. If you did not complete a project, please let me know, because this saves me the time of having to go through the fair entries to look for you. Completion doesn't require submitting a fair entry. You can bring a project to the club picnic on Monday and be considered complete. Our club MUST have at least a 70% completion rate to maintain our club status. Our club goal is to always be 90% or better.
