The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. by President Brooke Carlson.
The pledges were lead by Clara Coats and Juni Godfrey.
Roll call was taken by the secretary Mackenzie Porter, and members were asked to answer with their favorite Christmas tradition.
Gideon Rivera moved to approve the October and November secretary’s reports as posted on the website. Doug Porter seconded.
The treasurer’s report was given by Nate Rogers. The club savings account balance is $2,184.69 and the club checking account balance is $1,014.60.
The sunshine report was given by sunshine person Cael Claude. There were five December birthdays.
The Cloverbud report was given by junior leader Lacey Adams. Cloverbuds in attendance presented their Thanksgiving activities from the November meeting.
Enrollment – If a member is already enrolled and wants to make changes to projects, this must be done by going through Cindy. It cannot be done online. The deadline for current members to enroll is January 15th. New member enrollment is due March 1st. Livestock and shooting sports forms are required to be completed and submitted with enrollment fees.
2017 Certificates – Certificates left from the November meeting were distributed to members.
4-H Carnival – Baskets and games: Following discussion and several votes, the following baskets were selected for the upcoming carnival: hunting/camping and arts/crafts. Following discussion and several votes the following club booths were selected for the upcoming carnival: lollipop pull, toilet paper toss, iron man, rubberband guns.
Officer Elections — Elections for new officers for 2018 are as follows: President Brooke Carlson, Vice President Breelyn Caffey, Secretary Lacey Adams, Treasurer Nate Rogers, Sunshine Cael Claude and Brice Caffey, Historian Wyatt Grundy, Reporter Walker Cameron.
A demonstration was presented by Walker Cameron about hunting geese in Northern Colorado.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:32 p.m.
A community service project was held after the club meeting in which club members wrapped Christmas gifts for Foster and Adoptive Families of Larimer County.
Members brought and shared cookies with the group.
