The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by President Brooke Carlson in the McKee Building.
Members were asked to serve as pledge leaders and the volunteers were Andrea Newby and Delaney Newby.
Roll call was taken by Lacey Adams.
Andrea Newby moved to approve the minutes from the July meeting as printed on the club website. Motion 2nd and APPROVED.
The treasurer’s report was given with $3,696.97 in the checking account and $2,184.29 in the savings account.
The sunshine person Cael Claude presented all of the October birthdays, there were three. A card for Rod and Beth Johnson was made and circulated for member signatures. The Johnsons served as the Grand Marshals at the County Fair Parade.
Lacey Adams, Cloverbud Jr. Leader, brought the Cloverbuds up for the Cloverbud report. The group made leather bracelets to show at the Larimer County Fair. The group also had their own float in the fair parade in conjunction with the club float.
The leader’s report was given by club leader, Cindy Buckardt. There will be a leader meet and greet October 11th and she encouraged all club leaders to attend. There had also been a shooting sports leaders meeting discussing several topics for the shooting sports programs for the upcoming year. Trista is hosting a food project field trip at the King Soopers on Eagle Drive in Loveland around the produce department. Reminder that Achievement Night is November 3rd.
Fair and Truck Raffle – A brief discussion recapping the county fair as well as the truck raffle took place.
Club Website – A motion was made to renew the club website for an additional two years. 2nd and APPROVED.
4-H Open House – A brief report was given regarding the county open house. All in attendance felt it was successful.
Community Service – The turning of the pens will take place November12th at Woodcraft. A signup sheet is being passed around to sign up for specific times.
4-H Projects and Enrollment – A discussion was held regarding 4-H projects that are offered. Enrollment should become available in the near future.
Jacob Grudle presented a demonstration about his Western Heritage project.
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 p.m., seconded and APPROVED.
The next meeting will take place on November 13, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
